The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the department Manager in overseeing daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring high service standards, efficient processes, staff supervision, and excellent guest satisfaction in line with company policies.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent implementation of service standards across all outlets
• Conduct regular operational checks to maintain quality and efficiency
• Assist in preparing duty rosters and managing staff rotation
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service delivery
• Review daily sales reports and identify trends or discrepancies
• Support planning and execution of events, banquets, and promotions
• Ensure proper guest seating during peak periods
• Maintain strong guest relations, including handling VIP guests
• Support cost control by reducing wastage and monitoring portions
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Participate in management meetings and provide operational updates
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards across staff
• Handle emergency situations and make quick operational decisions
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment
• Support implementation of policies and standard operating procedures

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar F&B role (preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an added advantage
