We are seeking on behalf of the client a Logistics & Tracking Officer to support effective fleet monitoring, logistics coordination, and operational reporting. The role is critical in ensuring timely deliveries, route efficiency, cost control, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
This position suits a detailโoriented professional with strong coordination skills and handsโon experience in fleet tracking and logistics operations

•Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of goods
•Support vendor management, including transporters and freight forwarders
•Prepare and manage logistics documentation (waybills, delivery notes, permits)
•Monitor fleet movements and shipments using GPS tracking systems
•Identify route deviations, delays, and incidents; take corrective action
•Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs
•Track and report logistics KPIs (onโtime delivery, fuel usage, turnaround time)
•Communicate effectively with drivers and operations teams
•Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
•Ensure compliance with company policies and local transport regulations
•Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, IT, or a related field
•Minimum of ๐ญ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฒ๐
๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ in logistics, fleet tracking, or a similar role
•Strong working knowledge of Excel and GPS tracking systems
•Good communication, coordination, and problemโsolving skills
•Sound knowledge of Dar es Salaam routes
