Kinemo Agro Seed and Chemical Traders Co. Ltd is recruiting qualified professionals to support its sales, agricultural field operations and financial management activities in Tanzania.
The company specialises in high-quality seeds, agricultural chemicals, fertilisers, poultry feeds and agricultural equipment.
Its activities include supplying smallholder farmers with climate-resilient maize, sunflower and legume seeds, supporting agricultural productivity, nutrition and economic growth.
The organisation is inviting applications for five positions across three job categories.
Available Positions
1. Sales Officer – 2 Positions
Duty Stations: Southern Zone and Lake Zone
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct regular sales trips and field visits in accordance with company sales plans.

Achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
-
Identify new sales opportunities, negotiate deals and establish business relationships with customers.
-
Prepare sales reports covering performance, customer feedback, market opportunities and challenges.
-
Identify new markets and potential customers.
-
Promote agricultural products through field visits, farmer training, demonstrations and marketing activities.
-
Monitor customer orders and coordinate timely product deliveries.
-
Follow up outstanding payments and support collection of customer debts in accordance with company credit policies.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing or a related field.
-
Proven experience working as a salesperson in a reputable company, preferably in agricultural inputs.
-
Valid driving licence, Class D or E, as applicable to the assigned vehicle.
-
Strong sales, negotiation, communication and customer relationship management skills.
-
Ability to achieve sales targets and maintain accurate sales and delivery records.
-
Honesty, discipline, self-motivation and willingness to travel extensively.

2. Field Technician – 2 Positions
Duty Station: Lake Zone
Job Purpose
Support the introduction and adoption of Kinemo Agro seed varieties by establishing model farms, organising demonstrations, providing technical assistance and building relationships with farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Promote improved seed varieties and agricultural technologies to farmers and agrodealers.
-
Organise farmer training sessions, demonstration plots, field days and harvest festivals.
-
Coordinate with agrodealers, traders, government extension officers and development partners.
-
Identify suitable demonstration sites and engage host farmers.
-
Facilitate agreements concerning the establishment and management of demonstration plots.
-
Supervise demonstration plots and ensure proper agronomic practices.
-
Collect crop performance information.
-
Prepare field activity reports covering farmers reached, demonstration results, product demand, market opportunities and customer feedback.
-
Work with sales teams to support product adoption and market development.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Extension, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Soil Science or another relevant agricultural field.
-
Minimum two years of relevant experience in agricultural extension, new product introduction, field testing, demonstration trials, product evaluation or commercialisation of agricultural products.

Ability to work effectively with farmers, agrodealers, government officials and development partners.
-
Strong communication, field coordination and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently and meet agreed targets and deadlines.

3. Finance Manager – 1 Position
Duty Station: Mbeya Headquarters
Key Responsibilities

Analyse financial performance, trends, variances and risks to support management decisions.

Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
-
Coordinate stock control and internal audit activities.
-
Prepare statutory returns, including tax, NSSF and WCF obligations.
-
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws and internal company policies.
-
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
-
Maintain updated accounting system records.
-
Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable schedules.
-
Support inventory and stock reconciliation.
-
Investigate financial and stock-related discrepancies.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
-
A professional accounting qualification or certification is an added advantage.
-
Minimum three years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance or a related role.
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
-
Experience using Zoho Books or other accounting software.
-
Understanding of taxation, statutory deductions, financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.
-
High standards of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
